This collaboration was initiated to help you advance your mission of cultivating a research ecosystem that merges traditional disciplines in the arts and sciences with emerging interdisciplinary programs designed to address the challenges of the 21st century.



The Only True Citation Index

The Web of Science Core Collection provides access to the 
world's leading citation databases. With carefully curated 
content covering over 18,000 of the highest impact journals 
worldwide, including Open Access journals. You'll find current 
and retrospective coverage in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities, with coverage to 1900. This includes the Science Citation Index, Social Science Citation Index, Arts and Humanities Citation Index, Emerging Sources Citation Index, Conference Proceedings, and Book Citation Index.

As part of the Web of Science Citation Connection offer outlined in the proposal, The State University of New York will gain access to:
  • 29,000 Journals
  • Over 6 Million Data Sets & 759,000 Data Studies
  • 70 Million Patents 
  • More than 5,000 journals in regional collections (including SciELO Citation Index, KCI Korean Journal Database (Index), Russian Science Citation Index, and Chinese Science Citation Database (Index).
